Ceremony & Spirituality (Episode 9)
In the following episodes, the Yaya Guaili Ara Taino Yukayeke represented by Paige Guaraguao Acevedo and Kenneth Rodriguez, travel to the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to meet with Behique Miguel Sague. Miguel, also known as Black Rib, shares details about his life's origins, collected knowledge of Taíno language and culture, and his hopes for the future of our people.
This project seeks to document, promote, and uplift the voices of Taíno way of life, recording & sharing collective knowledge, and making it accessible to the greater Community.
