"TRIBAL STATEMENT OF BEING: The YA'YA GUAILI ARA TAINO YUKAYEKE (Noble Taino Village of the Creator's Children and People) centrally located in Bronx NY is a tribal band of descendants of the Taino Native American Indians of the Caribbean Islands and territories of throughout the world. We are composed of Taino families and individuals who are descended from Lokono, Igneris, Guanahatabey, Siboney and other Taino and Arawak tribes, families and individuals. We are dedicated to continuing, preserving and reviving the legacy of our tribal bloodlines, way of life and ancestral culture through music, dance, art, gatherings, storytelling, DNA research, and more.

Tribal Colors 

  • Blue

    Represents the waters that our ancestors crossed to arrive in the Caribbean and the sky where the creator lives.

  • Red

    Represents the spilled blood, sacrifice made by our ancestors and the Earth.

  • Yellow

    Represents the sun that nurtures our people.

  • Green

    Represents Mother nature, Medicine and the Earth.

  • Brown

    Represents the people.

  • Black

    Represents the struggle endured by our ancestors.

Taino Music.

The following are songs that are inspired by our Taino ancestors. Some songs have a traditional flavor, some contemporary, some a mixture of both, some with three language translations and mixtures of Taino, Spanish and American English., some with Caribbean and Afro Caribbean flavor, some wirh Campo flavor and some with city urban Hip Hop feel, some with peace and some with Guazabara warrior revolution spirit, But all with the inspiration of our Taino Arawak Ancestors presented here with love and respect.
